The Youth Environmetal Protectors (YEP) welcomed back 2 previous advisory board members, bringing their total attendance to 10! The Youth Advisory Administration (YAA) welcome 2 new members, bringing their total membership to 7 - way to go Superior youth and shoutout to Leo’s Community Center and Regenerating Sonora for being amazing community partners! The Youth Environmental Squad (YES) maintained consistent membership with their core 6!

The YAA’s meeting focused on developing a governance model and groudrules for membership and meetings while continuing to brainstorm passion projects to support their initiatives. The YES and YEP reviewed business items to continue informing the project and then transitioned to brainstorming questions for their Year 1 Evaluation. They reviewed a table generated from the youth co-authorship meeting on August 15, 2026; it outlined “YAB said…” and “Grant said…” to show their alignment before moving into generating questions to evaluated the pieces outlined.
